from July 11th to August 1st
Join SWYMBLK for the Make Waves Walk, a ​free community event created to raise awareness around water safety, drowning prevention, and the importance of swim education for youth and families.
HONORING WORLD DROWNING PREVENTION DAY
Enjoy an approximately 0.5 mile walk designed for families, youth and community members of all ages.
Interactive activity stations that teach simple, memorable water safety lessons in a fun and engaging way.
Youth-centered games, educational moments​ and hands on experiences focused on water safety and drowning prevention.
Enjoy a uplifting atmosphere with music, vendors, community partners and family-friendly engagement.
Learn how to volunteer, sponsor SWYM Smart Stations, donate or support future SWYMBLK programs.
Your presence helps raise awareness around drowning prevention and the need for increased  access for water safety education
